What is an underwater trail?
Underwater trails are marked routes in the natural environment, accessible with mask, snorkel and flippers. Designed to combine discovery and awareness, they allow you to explore the seabed independently, in a fun and supervised way.
Along the way, underwater information panels tell you all you need to know about the surrounding marine ecosystem: fauna, flora, posidonia, etc. You’ll be immersed in a truly magical world, rich in biodiversity and color, just a few meters from the surface.
In the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, four trails have been developed by the Communauté de communes. Open during the summer season, they are accessible to everyone, from experienced swimmers to beginners, and are an ideal family experience.
It’s an educational, environmentally-friendly and accessible way to discover the local marine heritage. Some are located in the heart of the Aire Marine Protégée du Golfe de Saint-Tropez.
