What is a marine trail?
Marine trails are marked routes in natural settings that can be explored with a mask, snorkel, and fins. Designed to combine exploration and environmental education, they allow visitors to explore the seabed independently, in a fun and supervised setting.
Along the route, underwater information panels provide details about the marine ecosystem around you: fauna, flora, Posidonia… You’ll find yourself in a truly magical world, rich in biodiversity and color, just a few meters below the surface.
In the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, four trails have been developed by the Communauté de communes. Open during the summer season, they are accessible to everyone, from experienced swimmers to beginners, and are an ideal family experience.
This activity is educational, environmentally friendly, and accessible—a unique way to explore the local marine heritage. Some of these sites are located in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez Marine Protected Area.
