- What exactly does this activity offer? Description
- The ancient medieval village of La Garde-Freinet, perched on a rocky outcrop, overlooks all the surrounding valleys.
Protected by an impressive moat and natural cliffs, it is accessed via a steep path, which winds in hairpin bends in places. The layout of the village is still visible through the remains of the 12th-century walls and the main street that separates the village from the ‘castle’. Fort-Freinet is one of those exceptional and rare sites that can be visited.
